Description
Children will love working their upper-body strength as they chase each other around the North Bethesda play structure. Two 12ā elevated platforms are connected by an overhead horizontal snake ladder, a pebble bridge branches off of on of the elevated platforms and leads to a pebble step, and an overhead swinging rung ladder branches off of the other elevated platform and leads to a pebble step. Between the two pebble steps, but not connecting them, is a balance beam. The North Bethesda play structure looks square in shape. The way that this play structure is built is meant to make it ADA compliant to children. Since this play structure is made up largely of overhead ladders, children will improve their upper-body strength as they swing across the ladders. The pebble bridge and the balance beam will work on children’s balance. This play structure is designed for children who are between the ages of 5 and 12 years old.
